FEATURED PROJECT

Madison and Racine/Kenosha, Wisconsin
Henshue has been providing effective turnkey services to a major telecommunications provider in Wisconsin. Henshue is the first and only turnkey provider for telecom provider. In Madison, Henshue rebuilt an entire wire center and completed several other major projects under the turnkey system. Given that success, the project was expanded to include the Racine and Kenosha areas as well. In all, Henshue designed and/or placed more than 200 miles of conduit, 150 miles of fiber, 20 manholes, and 51 remote terminals and rebuilt 30 manholes under this turnkey system.

Waukesha (Wisconsin) Fiber Network
Henshue completed an approximately 18-mile fiber network in Waukesha, Wisconsin. The services furnished by Henshue included the following: project coordination; material procurement and storage; underground and buried cable placement; fiber optic cable placement; directional boring; handhole placements; splicing and testing; restoration and landscaping.

Municipal Telephone System Network
Henshue is presently constructing a fiber optic and copper cable telephone system network for a municipality in central Wisconsin. The project is on schedule to be completed by the end of this 2002. The network involves approximately 12 miles of outside plant facilities. The services furnished by Henshue include the following: project coordination; material procurement and storage; aerial, underground and buried cable placement; copper and fiber optic cable placement; directional boring; trenching; plowing; cabinet and pedestal placements; restoration and landscaping.

Tollway Fiber Project
During 2000 and 2001, Henshue completed an approximately 40-mile fiber network for a communications company along Interstate 88 in Illinois. The services furnished by Henshue included the following: project coordination; material procurement and storage; underground and buried cable placement; fiber optic cable placement; directional boring; handhole placements; splicing and testing; restoration and landscaping.
