HCI's President/CEO, Gary Henshue, established a successful career
in the telecommunications industry before joining the family business.
Immediately prior to joining HCI in 1993, Gary was the CEO of Norlight
based out of Madison, WI. Norlight was responsible for building
the first fiber optic network in the State of Wisconsin. Utilizing
his expertise, in 1995 HCI created the Telecom Division. The company
has had tremendous success building a team of knowledgeable professionals
in the design and construction of telecom infrastructure.
Telecommunications
Providers
HCI works on projects each year with communications
providers throughout the Midwest - Independent Telephone companies,
CLECs, regional carriers, as well as, national and international
companies placing facilities within our reach. In 2002, HCI's reach
included Ohio, Michigan, Illinois and our home state of Wisconsin.
Projects ranged from buried cables to miles of aerial, twelve-duct
packs, rebuilt manholes and innerduct filled with fiber. Not all
the numbers are in for 2002 but here is a look at what we accomplished
in 2001.
